Overview

JExtScanner is built by Antibody Cyber Technology LLC with a core principle: your privacy comes first. This tool was created to expose how websites violate your privacy — we would never do the same. This policy explains exactly what data we do and do not collect.

No Data Collection

JExtScanner does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. Specifically:

  • No extension data is sent to our servers. All scanning runs entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript.
  • No cookies are set. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any other cookies.
  • No analytics or tracking scripts. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no third-party trackers of any kind.
  • No user accounts or registration. There is nothing to sign up for.
  • No device fingerprinting by us. While the scanner shows you what data sites can collect, we do not collect it ourselves.

How the Scanner Works

When you run a scan:

  • The extension database (a list of known extension IDs and resource paths) is loaded from our server.
  • Your browser checks each extension locally using chrome-extension:// URL probing.
  • Results are displayed in your browser and never leave your device.
  • Downloaded reports are generated client-side as HTML files — no server interaction.

Server Logs

Like any web server, our infrastructure may record standard access logs (IP address, request URL, timestamp, user agent). These logs are used solely for security monitoring and abuse prevention. They are not used for tracking, profiling, or advertising, and are automatically purged.

Third-Party Resources

JExtScanner loads the following external resources for functionality and styling:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com) — for typography
  • Font Awesome (cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — for icons

These services have their own privacy policies. We include Subresource Integrity (SRI) hashes where possible to ensure these resources have not been tampered with.

Children's Privacy

JExtScanner does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top. Given that we collect no data, significant changes are unlikely.
